BOB Player on Samsung and LG TV: setup with MAC address and Device Key

BOB Player — and its versions BOB Pro and BOB Premium — is a modern IPTV player for Samsung and LG Smart TVs, also available on phones and tablets. It shows a MAC address and a Device Key: send them to us and we add your channels for you. BOB Player activation is free with our subscription.

How to set up BOB Player on Samsung or LG TV

1. Install BOB Player: On Samsung: Home › Apps › search “BOB Player”. On LG: Home › LG Content Store › search “BOB Player”. BOB Pro and BOB Premium work the same way.
2. Open the app: The first screen shows your MAC address and Device Key. Take a photo of the screen.
3. Send us your codes: Send the photo, or the MAC address and Device Key, to our team on WhatsApp — and tell us which version you installed (BOB Player, Pro or Premium).
4. We add your playlist: We add your subscription to BOB Player and activate the app for you.
5. Restart and watch: Close and reopen the app: live TV, movies, series and the TV guide load.

BOB Player, BOB Pro and BOB Premium are separate apps, each with its own codes. Any of them works with our subscription — just tell us which one is on your TV.

Where to find your BOB Player codes

• MAC address: six pairs of letters and numbers separated by colons, for example 1A:2B:3C:4D:5E:6F.
• Device Key: a short number shown next to the MAC address.

The easiest way: take a photo of the TV screen with your phone and send it to us — no risk of typing mistakes. You can also enter the codes directly in our order form or free trial form: choose Samsung or LG, then BOB Player.

Free BOB Player activation with your subscription

Like most Smart TV players, BOB Player can be tested for free for a limited time, then asks for an activation per TV, paid to the app developer. When you subscribe with best service iptv, we activate BOB Player on your TV for you at no extra cost — one less thing to pay and set up.

• No subscription yet? Start with our free 24-hour trial, then choose a plan from $9.50.
• Several TVs at home? Each TV has its own codes: send us the details of each one.

BOB Player not working? Quick fixes

• Empty channel list: close and reopen the app (or use its Reload / Refresh option) after we confirm your playlist was added.
• Channels freeze: connect the TV with an Ethernet cable if you can, and restart the TV and router. More tips: how to stop IPTV buffering.
• The app is not in your TV store: older TVs (roughly before 2018) may not have it — try IBO Player or a Fire TV Stick.
