IPTV on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV

Apple devices are great for IPTV: the iPhone and iPad for watching on the go, and the Apple TV 4K for the big screen. Here's how to set up your IPTV subscription on iOS, iPadOS and tvOS.

Step 1: Install an IPTV player from the App Store

1. Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad or Apple TV.
2. Search for an IPTV player such as IPTV Smarters, GSE Smart IPTV or iPlayTV (Apple TV).
3. Install the app. App names and availability can change; our support team can recommend a current option.

Step 2: Add your account

1. Open the app and choose Xtream Codes (or M3U playlist if that's what you received).
2. Enter your server URL, username and password exactly as sent — they are case-sensitive.
3. Save, then wait for the channel list and EPG to load.

Apple TV tips

• Use Ethernet on Apple TV 4K for the most stable 4K playback.
• Set Match Frame Rate on (Settings › Video and Audio › Match Content) for smoother sports.
• Use AirPlay from iPhone to Apple TV if your player supports it.

On mobile data

HD streaming uses about 1.5–3 GB per hour. On cellular, lower the stream quality in the player settings to save data.
