TiviMate is one of the most popular IPTV players on Android TV, Google TV and Amazon Firestick, thanks to its clean, cable-style TV guide. This guide shows you how to add your IPTV subscription to TiviMate in a few minutes.
Good to know: TiviMate is a player only — it doesn't include any channels. You need an IPTV subscription to use it. Some features (such as recording and multiple playlists) require TiviMate Premium, a separate purchase from the app developer.
Step 1: Install TiviMate
- Android TV / Google TV / Nvidia Shield: search "TiviMate IPTV Player" in the Google Play Store and install it.
- Firestick: TiviMate is not always listed in the Amazon Appstore; follow our Firestick guide to install it with the Downloader app.
Step 2: Add your playlist
- Open TiviMate and select Add playlist.
- Choose Xtream Codes (recommended) — or M3U playlist if that's what you received.
- Enter the server address, username and password from your welcome message, then press Next.
- TiviMate checks the account and shows the number of channels, movies and series. Press Next.
- Give the playlist a name (for example "best service iptv") and press Done.
Step 3: Set up the TV guide (EPG)
With Xtream Codes, the EPG loads automatically. If the guide is empty, go to Settings › EPG, check that a source is listed, and choose Update EPG.
Best TiviMate settings
- Settings › Playlists › Update playlist on app start: on.
- Settings › EPG › Update interval: every 24 hours.
- Settings › Playback › Buffer size: increase it if you see micro-freezes.
- Favorites: long-press a channel and add it to Favorites for quick access on game day.
